At Ysgol y Grango Secondary School in Wrexham, Peter James White Electrical Ltd completed the specialist electrical specification in the transformative renovation of two new science rooms, including more sustainable and future-proofing electrical solutions (Carbon Footprint).


The spec in each room entailed wiring circuits in accordance with the new desk layouts in the laboratory spaces and fitting integrated pedestal socket-boxes to enable accessibility for experiments and scientific demonstrations on the new multipurpose workstations, as well as the installation of water heaters, fume-cupboard docking stations and two-compartment trunking for the interactive smart TVs.


With regards to energy-management, the electrical upgrade involved the removal and replacement of old fluorescent lighting with new 600×600 LED panels, incorporating emergency lighting (safe lighting levels in case of power-failure), offering a more environmentally-sustainable, lower-energy and durable lighting solution.


Furthermore, full electrical installation certification was issued upon completion of the electrical component of REMBuild’s innovative redevelopment of the Science Department at Ysgol y Grango Secondary School in Wrexham.
