St John’s Church in Mosley Common contacted Commercial Electrician Peter James White Electrical Ltd for a full EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report). The Remedial Recommendations from the EICR were completed in accordance with current electrical regulatory standards and included RCD protection, with the potential to upgrade in the near future.
During the testing, Peter James White Electrical Ltd fitted a new control system to the church’s organ as it was reported that it had not been working. Furthermore, it was noted that an exterior security light was not fully functional which, consequently, was replaced with a new 50w LED security light, the ‘switch’ to LED lighting constituting part of a continuing commitment to more sustainable (electrical) practices, offering a more environmentally-sustainable, lower-energy, durable and longer-lasting lighting solution (less recycling) whilst simultaneously safeguarding the welfare of the church’s patrons by illuminating the patrons’ walkway and the church’s grounds (security and health & safety).
