From inspiration to installation, Peter James White Electrical Ltd provides end-to-end project management for electrical upgrades in the Education Sector.
In collaboration with REMBuild Ltd, the electrical upgrade at St Anne’s RC Voluntary Academy in Stockport involved a new lighting system design in the Food Technology Department, including 18 (600×600) CCT LED panels with colour-changing capabilities and accompanying PIR motion-sensors, as well as emergency packs and key-switching for testing purposes.
With regards to sustainability and energy management, the energy-saving motion sensors reduce operation times and energy consumption and, in addition to the new LED lighting system, provide a more sustainable and future-proof electrical solution (environmental impact and carbon footprint).
In accordance with the technical drawing specifications, the project further involved the installation of supply to a new 12-way TPN Fusebox fuseboard, complete with SPD and RCBO for the circuitry, as well as the installation of 23 sockets to new room and desk configuration, encompassing multiple ring-mains to assist load-distribution of the kitchen equipment (health & safety).
Additionally, Peter James White Electrical Ltd fitted 12 new cooker supplies and 4 12-inch window fans to assist with ventilation, temperature management and odour control, as well as installing new data supplies to accommodate the teacher’s new desk configuration, as part of REMBuild Ltd’s transformative renovation of the Food Technology Department at St Anne’s RC Voluntary Academy in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
