From inspiration to installation, Peter James White Electrical Ltd holds extensive experience in commercial electrical installation and collaborative corporate projects, including the design of the entrance foyer at Orbit Development’s Ladyfield House by the award-winning Interior Design Consultancy, The Design House.
The Inspiration…
The Design House, Specialists in commercial property interiors and workspace design, was commissioned to design the reception space at Orbit Development’s Ladyfield House.
Proceeding from the onsite Planning and Development Consultation, the contemporary lighting scheme was devised to align with the Designer’s vision with regards to light colour, output, make and model in the creation of elevated workspace interior design.
The Innovation…
Working to the Design Brief, and featuring an LED technology lighting scheme for more sustainable commercial interior design, Ansell Comfort EVO 2 Dual Output CCT Multi Wattage LED Downlights were selected as part of the lighting system to coordinate with the new interior décor and colour scheme, including ceiling colour, and to emit a warm white glow to complement the contemporary commercial interior design and styling.
With widespread commercial application and aesthetic appeal, LED technology provides optimal illumination and visibility (Lux) levels, as well as more energy-efficient, durable and cost-effective lighting solutions, in contemporary commercial premises and spaces (Energy Management & Carbon Footprint).
The Installation…
With regards to design principles of scale, proportion and statement (or focal) elements, the new stylish lighting scheme was designed to complement the existing oversized black halo LED pendant light. In addition to the aforementioned Ansell LED Downlights, matt black bezel JCC Downlights were installed, providing ambient lighting to the foyer and seating area. Additionally, modish LED strip feature-lighting was fitted to illuminate the newly cladded focal wall, further enhancing the elegant and design-forward workspace at Ladyfield House.
