Peter James White Electrical Ltd, Electrical Specialist for the Education Sector, completed the electrical ‘element’ of REMBuild’s transformation of science laboratories at Holy Cross Catholic High School.
The electrical innovation consisted of the strip-out of two existing science laboratories. In each laboratory, 2 new ring-mains to 22 double MK sockets were installed. Furthermore, 2 new 7-way single-phase Fusebox fuseboards, complete with SPD and RCBOs, were fitted, as well as water heaters in the individual teaching and learning spaces.
With regards to new lighting installations, 15 (600×600) LED panels were fitted in the respective classrooms, complete with emergency-switching, providing a lower-energy, more durable lighting solution, which can reduce operating costs and light consumption, energy-waste and environmental impact (Carbon Footprint).
