At Corpus Christi Catholic High School in Cardiff, Peter James White Electrical Ltd, award-winning electrical company and professional contractor for the Commercial and Education Sectors, completed the specialist electrical installation detail of REMBuild Ltd’s transformative renovation of the Science Department.
The two-phase project consisted of the innovative refurbishment of the Science Department, including 8 new science laboratories and prep room, located off the main corridor [pictured], and involved power installation to the new island-bench layout, including integrated sockets, to enable accessibility for experiments and scientific demonstrations on the new multipurpose workstations.
At the respective teaching workstations in each laboratory, power supplies for the new interactive Smart TVs were installed to further enhance the teaching and learning experience for the pupils.
With regards to Health & Safety, the emergency stop buttons were altered in accordance with the new teaching workstations and, in the prep room, power was installed to the mobile fume cupboard, as well as a new 6-inch extraction fan.
Accordingly, full testing and electrical installation certification was issued upon completion of the electrical component of REMBuild’s innovative redevelopment project at Corpus Christi Catholic High School in Cardiff.
