The project ‘took off’ when City Airport & Manchester Heliport contacted Peter James White Electrical Ltd, Commercial Electrician for the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure sector, for a range of electrical services, including electrical testing, new lighting and electrical installations: six new 100w LED security floodlights were installed on various aircraft hangars, including three new photocells to operate the security lighting, and a new 100w LED security light was fitted to the North West Air Ambulance hangar, as well as a new 1200 x 600 LED light panel fitted in the changing room, providing more energy-efficient, durable and longer-lasting lighting solutions (less recycling). Furthermore, a full EICR Report was conducted on the Heliport and an RCD socket was installed to the exterior of the Maintenance hangar. Another ‘plane’ sailing job at City Airport & Manchester Heliport!
